Notre Dame Marching Band and Piccolo Cookies

The thought of football games, marching bands, and packed stadiums seems so foreign right now, but boy, am I ever looking forward to being in the stands, (baking in the sun or freezing in the sleet), paying $12 for a Coke, and cheering on the Fighting Irish.

We sent these cookies to Jack's friend who plays piccolo in the marching band. While I've made Notre Dame cookies before here, here, here, and even ND football cookies here...I've never attempted a marching band uniform/jacket OR a piccolo.

Did you know that the University of Notre Dame's band is the oldest college band in the United States? How cool is that?!?
