A radio presenter seemed to hit a VERY raw nerve with Justin Bieber after he cheekily asked the teen sensation about his mother's relationship with cougar-lover, Harry Styles...
But the interview with 'Mojo In The Morning' had been awkward long before that point, with Justin Bieber getting agitated after his voice was compared to that of Justin Timberlake.
“Man, that’s crazy because our voices sound nothing alike... Saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment. ... if you were to say 'I heard some Justin Timberlake-esque things,' I would take THAT as a compliment."
Justin Timberlake comparisons aside, it seemed the final straw for Bieber was when the presenter jokingly quizzed the teen about his mother's relationship with One Directioner Harry Styles - a boy famed for having his way with older women.
"Do you worry about Harry [Styles] around your mom, since he likes older women?"
Bieber asked the DJ to repeat the question, which (foolishly) he did. After a brief pause, Bieber came out with the classic rebuttal, trotted out in any situation such as this:
"I think YOU should worry about your mom!”
Unfortunately for Bieber, DJ Carballot revealed that his mother was dead.
Awkward.
Justin clearly felt the tension as, seconds later, he ended the call. His management have since admitted that he was a "little upset" by the questions.
