My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo:

L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo Review

The shampoo comes in a brown bottle with a black pump. There is no seal or an outer box. The brown bottle is translucent and you can see the amount of shampoo remaining. The screw cap can also be easily opened. The pump can be locked which prevents it from leakage. There is enough information on the back of the bottle. The design is pretty nice; the detailing of safflower on the bottle adds a delicate touch to the rather ordinary bottle. Botanicals Fresh Care from L’Oreal is only available for hair right now. The products are made from finer ingredients of natural origin to create a high-quality product.

The shampoo is pearl white in color and has a runny consistency. It smells very pleasant. 2 pumps of the shampoo contain enough quantity to wash the hair normally. The pump system is great and dispenses the liquid correctly but I feel it is a bit tight to press the pump especially when the hands are wet and the bottle is pretty bulky.

The shampoo lathers very well, thanks to the presence of SLS (pun intended). So, I try to use as little as possible to wash my hair. The shampoo thoroughly cleanses the hair. The product is infused with safflower but there is also the presence of coconut oil and thus, it doesn’t super dry the scalp and there will be no chances of dandruff but this makes my oily scalp, a little oily the very next day. I have used the shampoo for almost 3 times now, I know it is really early to write a review but few products don’t need longer experimentation! The product makes the hair very soft and smooth even without a conditioner.

It also adds shine to the hair but the shine lasts just for a day. The product adds volume to the hair which is a big plus for people with fine hair, like me. I really love the bounce in my hair which lasts for around 2 days. The product is made for dry hair and I didn’t notice this when I purchased it. This played a very big role in my decision. The shampoo does do great for my dry ends; it adds moisture that it lacks but for my scalp which is oily, the shampoo does not do good. By the end of the second day, I feel like there is a layer of residue in my hair and I get a very uneasy feeling. The shampoo doesn’t weigh down the hair and maintains the natural texture of the hair. The product doesn’t contain any silicones, paraben or colorants. Thus, the results are not temporary.

The range also contains conditioner, serum and also mask. The product is unsuitable for oily scalp. But, if you have dry hair, the product can be very nourishing and moisturizing. The product also eliminates the split ends popping out. The product is very light and gets cleansed out well. The product is great but since it makes my scalp oily and I have bangs which in turn cause pimples on my forehead, I wouldn’t repurchase the product. So, summing up:

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo:

• Pleasant smell
• Lock mechanism on the pump
• Washes oil with just 2 pumps and cleanses the hair thoroughly
• Doesn’t make the scalp dry
• Makes hair very soft and smooth

• Adds immense volume to the hair
• Doesn’t weigh down the hair and maintains its natural texture
• No silicones, paraben or colorants
• Adds moisture to the dry ends

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo:

• Not suitable for oily scalp
